  : accommodation was in a central location, it was spacious with plenty of room for 5 people , beds were very comfortable
  : apartment is up 3 - 4 small flights of internal stairs - if this was in the description I missed it - stair are uneven and difficult to navigate with luggage - understand stair are an Amalfi coast - necessary evil but would have been good to know prior. 2 showers had intermittent unpredictable hot water - mostly showers where cold - we did contact the owner but then had a look at the reviews and looks like this is an ongoing problem - this was a significant problem description indicates towels provided - each of us was provided with a face washer and a small hand towel - and a cotton bathrobe - the towels that were provided were stained and very old - when we contacted the owner they said that in italy people dry themselves with bathrobes - mmm hasn't been our experience in the two weeks we have been here or on previous trips. the terrace was unusable as the neighbour had a turtle in a very small tub and the water had a horrendous smell - really unpleasant outside and also as you walked past to access the apartment apartment is very noise - neighbours - very very loud late into the night - upstairs and to the side
